sake
A sake bottle grabs my attention…so I grab the camera. A little bit of set up…black and white on the camera, piece of white paper on the bench…sip of Sake….
The Sake begins to take effect and the photographer starts to play. Other players, the vase and the pen, join the scene.

Very creative and unqiue. Well captured

Thank you Crystal. These things were sitting together on my bench and, with just a little bit of white paper and a change of setting in the camera….et voila!...after about 50 shots…here she is :))

Lovely high key image Clare, I really enjoyed your description of the creative process that you went through to get the final image!
Clare Colins replied
I’m glad you like the image George. The description has a little bit of poetic licence…a creation in itself…. as I don’t actually drink :)

Same here Clare “Teetotal”, but we have to use whatever props are to hand to create our images!
Gary Heald
Photo – Great, Description – Had me laughing!!
Clare Colins replied
Thanks Gary but it’s all a big fib….I don’t even drink….crazy enough without it!

what you describe is just what happens. When we have time… we add. Numerous photo opportunities… and when it is done.. there may be 230 shots done. Repeat and repeat. Move it to the side. Up and down. Alone. To contrast… To set up. To think what is the purpose… what could I use the image for?... Why did I click on this image. Well.. I had some sake last night… hmmm… makes me think that I wanted to see something first of familiarity before I see more of you.
Clare Colins replied
Thank you very much Glenn. I like that you have looked at my work and found something familiar. All the best, Clare
