hanging by a thread

hanging by a thread

.......and don’t you find that life is sometimes the very best metaphor for life?

On the day I took this photo I was ‘hanging by a thread’ myself…experiencing a lot of pain. I was not sure it would ever go away.

But there you have it…..the pain has nearly gone….the water droplet has definitely gone…but the image remains. It will remind me that even when things are tough beauty exists.

I call those “happy accidents” ... it’s always when you really really want a shot that it doesn’t quite work out but then the ones you take on the fly or without proper equipment or what not that turn out completely beyond your expectations. Those are the best shots!! Congrats again.

like everyone else, I just love the muted colurs in this and the title fits perfectly. I came to your site attracted by the drops on grass to find just exactly more images like this but then was struck by the diversity of your portfolio – all the energy and movement in some of them and yet the stillness in this. Pretty darn impressive!
