Nice surprise

What a lovely surprise, today I sold this image framed. / Apparently the woman who bought it said she has had in mind to buy it for several years. / Fancy that! / I totally admire artists who work with paint but, truth be told, I much prefer the immediacy of the camera. Today she Sold

A beautifully framed and signed picture of “A Brave little Soul Heading Home” sold for a very goodly amount at the Pinata Art Gallery in Dorrigo. / I now have enough money to frame more images for this year’s Mountain Art Exhibition which is on over the Easter week in Dorrigo. / See you there!

Couldn't be happier

Over Easter Dorrigo has the Mountain Arts Show. / On the opening night this framed image sold. / Two days later this image sold. / And then, yesterday I heard that this image won the People’s Choice award. (A $100 voucher to use at the Bellingen Framing Studio) / I am very happy about all that. Just goes to show that a daily obsession, loads of study and dedication can actually pay off :) …
