My PC monitor has decided to stop working!

Just to let you all know that my PC monitor has decided to flash on and off at will and I expect it to soon explode in a ball of flame!
So, until the manufacturer replaces it or repairs it, I am stuck with my back up 15 inch TFT, the colours of which are “interesting” to say the least!
This makes looking at any image almost impossible and so its not really practical to look at artwork on RB for comment at the moment.
I will try to catch up when I have the new or repaired monitor back in the system.. hopefully in a day or two.
So, although I look like I am absent without leave – I am still here, in a reduced capacity!!!

    Aw…...don’t you just hate it when that happens….I don’t care if the cooker, fridge and freezer breaks down….I can deal with that ….but when the computer goes I am in a frazzle! Hope it’s fixed soon Colin…..see you soon xxx

    Hi. The one that has broken is a 19 inch TFT (not widescreen), calibrated for good colour. If it has to be replaced I will go for a 22 inch widescreen TFT.

    Must be the time of year colin, because I have had trouble with my Computer, it works when it feels like it, and the new keyboard I got is a load of rubbish and they are going to be asked to take it back, I go about three times faster than it does, so it misses letters out and I have to go back and put them in, twice as much work. Good luck pal with your monitor and I will soldier on regardless. See you soon.

    You have my complete sympathy. My laptop went brain dead two weeks ago and I had to reinstall the operating system, losing everything (though I had much of it backed up). Take it as a reminder to back up your stuff if you haven’t already! Hope you get it fixed soon….

    Sorry about that chief. Hope it gets replaced soon. I know you love looking at all the wonderful art at RB, plus, you can’t work on your own either. Hang tight and all will work out.

    ah bad luck Colin :( If you do get a 22” monitor you sure will notice the difference. I have a Samsung 22” and absolutely love it. Maybe good things will come out of bad :)
