Salisbury cathedral at night
This year Salisbury will be celebrating the 750th anniversary of the consecration of the completed Cathedral in 1258.
The spire is 404 feet tall, the highest in Europe… no words of mine can add anything to its beauty! Although I was born in Salisbury, so might be biased, I am sure noone would disagree with the magnificence of this marvellous building.

Fabulous shot. I was there earlier this year but there was scaffolding across the front. Its nice to see it without that. I have a good shot of the interior on my RB page – its a magnificent cathedral.
