Profile

Colin Hollywood
City: Dorset, Uk
Country: United Kingdom
Joined: Dec 2007

I am an artist and photographer based in the south of England.
My main interest is in aviation photography, but I do like taking photos of other things too, especially if outdoors – nothing can beat nature itself for subject matter.
I started in photography using my father’s old Brownie until in my teens I got a russian Zenit E for my birthday – completely manual (you even had to stop down the lens by hand!). I moved through Olympus and later Canon film cameras – currently using digital Canon 1D MkIIN and 40D bodies with Canon17-40L, 24-105L and 100-400L lenses, Lee filters and Manfrotto/Jobu tripods and heads.
