I have just bought myself a new (well old, but new to me) camara after spending a couple of years enjoying taking pics on my phone :) Time to upgrade I think! I found a friend on this site and have really enjoyed the art work I have seen throughout from people all over the world. I hope to learn from you guys and maybe get a comment or two on pics I upload.

I am from Scotland and have travelled a fair amount, how I wish I had a decent camera back then, although I will continue traveling into the future so with benefit from my new toy. I got a bridge camera off Ebay which I reckon is a good starting point, especially on a buget. It is a Samsung 815 pro with a crazy 28-400mm lense which seems to work really effectively. Got myself a wee tripod for those super zooms and will be getting a remote so to avoid touching the camera and messing with timers. It sounds cool too;) It does only have 8mp which aint great for zooming into or enlarging once uploaded but hell, what do I want for a beginers kit huh? I’m chuffed with it.

Any advice thrown my way will be taken with appreciation, cheers guys
