Lynne Wright
Colin, I am fascinated with your beautiful work! Are you serious that you’ve only been painting for a YEAR????? Like you, I find watercolor to be an adventure every time I do one—kind of like a roller coaster ride: scary as all get-out, but wonderful fun, nonetheless. I admire the way you capture a scene without belaboring it with excessive detail. Am looking forward very much to seeing more of your work.
Colin Cartwright
Thanks for that kind encouragement, Lynne. I was going to abandon this site, as I get very few comments.
And yes I’ve been painting/drawing watercolour, for only 14 months now.
I have painted another Thomas Hair – “Beamish Wheel”, which I’ll upload when I take a photo of it!
Thank you very much.
Kind regards
Colin.

Hello Colin,
I just had another good look at this and think it is so good that it should be included in the “Featured Work” section in our North East Group, so it has been.
