I am always on the edge of my seat to see what you are going to paint next Colin. Love your exquisite attention to detail, the little boat is almost missed if you don’t look at it larger. Love, Bon

What a rich county we live in for such dramatic scenery – and you capture some of that drama so well with this watercolour Colin. Glad I’m not in that boat though.

    Hi Colin,
Great watercolour, I like the way the rocks in the foreground echo the ruined castle in the background! I used to live in Embleton, nearest village, when I was in the RAF nearby!
    Cheers Neil

  • Colin Cartwright replied

Thanks, Neil. A coincidence. I was there today for the first time in 16 years.
