Almus Viridis:

part of a public commission, looking into colour therapy and the human response to colour. This is one panel of six created for Furness General Hospital.

The idea was to create inclusive waypoints to help people find their way around the hospital. with large bright single colours that can be seen by the partially sighted, and heavy textured surfaces for the blind. as well as a pleasing effect for normal sighted people.

Fumnded bt the Millennium Commission.
on permenant exhibition at Furness General Hospital. Barrow in Furness

Art is a mirror of the mind
and a reflection of the soul,

Our thoughts and dreams,
our imagination and wishes,

Brought forth from the realms
of possibilities and made real.
