Great shot of the Connie Cole. – Ted

  • Thanks Ted. Its a pity that all we got to see was it taxi due to the strong cross wind, but impressive none the less!

Super great picture of the most elegant flying machine ever! My father used to own and operate one of those:-)

  • They certainly have a visual and auditory impact!

I’ve seen inside this amazing piece of aviation history, Cole – was a long, long, long time ago now…..

  • Hopefully I will be able to display an image of the evening ‘fire breathing’ connie soon

Great capture of an iconic flying machine. The first and so far only time I saw the Super Constellation flying was at Flying Legends a good few years ago, before I had a digital cmera. She was fire breathing then … disconcerting when you’re not expecting it. The Breitling Constellation is scheduled to appear at RIAT this year … sadly only on static display.
