Falling World

Another ramble poem, through the strange and twisted pathways of the non-poetic mind.

Falling World belongs to the following groups:

All Things Poetic, Artistic, Philosophical

Rising away from the falling world
Turn as one, as nobody
At all, away
To think and plan
And possibly scheme
To wait and see
Better days and better worlds.

Very apt in these days of crumbling capitalist empires and a much nicer turn of phrase than “the rat leaving the sinking ship”. Your poetry is very positive – I’m enjoying it, keep writing!

    a ramble?! Not at all!

    “To think and plan
    And possibly scheme
    To wait and see
Better days and better worlds”.....I really find this full of promise and very thought-provoking…The fact that us humans can scheme a better day and world is hopeful, and confirms that the power is truly in our hands.

Oh yes, and you should submit your pieces to On Youth
I think you should write out your “non-poetic” mind more often ;D
