Facebook really is a weird and wonderful thing

Posted over 2 years ago

Just found a picture on Facebook through a friend from my second primary school. The picture is of me and everyone in my year at my first primary in year 2!! Now I have managed to restablish contact with people from year 2, which is pretty amazing… And it’s all due to the internet and Facebook.
Makes you think, doesn’t it?

Robert Webb for 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony

Posted almost 3 years ago

Just found this group on facebook, it’s campaigning to have Robert Webb dance to ‘What a feeling’ for the Olympic opening ceremony instead of all those ridiculous flashy pyrotechnics.
It’s actually quite a good idea….

View his dance on the Beeb’s Let’s Dance for Comic Relief: here

And join the currently small and somewhat pointless group! :D

One Year on the Bubble

Posted almost 3 years ago

Yays! I’ve now been on RB for over a year…. and have sold 2 things, been featured not particularly many times, and not been nominated for a red dot… lol just joking.
Tnx to all the peoples who have watchlisted me and commented on my works and made keeping going with redbubble worthwhile, and all the fantastic members of the groups I host! And thank you to the RB admins, the found…

RIP Ivan Cameron

Posted almost 3 years ago

If you hadn’t heard yet, David Cameron’s (for those out of the UK and not aware of who he is, the conservative opposition leader in parliament) six year old son has died today.
As mark of respect, Prime Minister has suggested suspending the Prime Minister’s Questions.
Ivan Cameron had cerebral palsy and epilepsy, and died today just 45 minutes after being admitted to the hospital …

Oz kind of puts the UK's weather problems into perspective...

Posted about 3 years ago

So whilst Victoria state in Australia is suffering from the worst natural disaster to affect Australia in living memory, the UK has been hit by record snowfalls – something that seems to happen every 18 years or so, on average.
In the UK the news has been ‘what if we run out of gritting salt?’, ‘transport chaos’, and at the very worst, some people had to sleep in slig…

Random yet suprisingly interesting fact!

Posted about 3 years ago

This seriously impressed and astonished me actually for some reason…
In November 2008, Logitech produced their billionth mouse.
I mean, bloody hell thats a lot…
Have a look here just for logitech’s celebratory stuff… it’s quite interesting actually, with things like mouse ideas that never really made it etc.

But anyway, point is- kind of a testament to a technological w…

New Group: Shifting Sands

Posted about 3 years ago

Just here to say that me and Sam Mortimer have started a new group called Shifting Sands – if anyone with me watchlisted sees this feel free to join!
It should be a good group and we’re looking forward to hosting it.
We started it as we realised that there actually, suprisingly, seems to be no group devoted to sand on redbubble…
See ya there!

Thoughtful Religiosity

Posted about 3 years ago

I found this article in the Times magazine (27.12.08) a few days ago.
Admittedly I was drawn to opening it by the wonderful shot of Scarlett Johansson wearing not particularly much (joking, honest!) but then I found this in the year in view section.
It was an interview with Dr Brian Cox, a British physicist who was involved in the LHC collider at CERN, who also has made a few television programs on…

ARGH Group Double Bubblemails Drive Me Up The Wall

Posted about 3 years ago

So much so that I over-capitalise my titles – see what it drives me to?
Just a little brief rant, but I get soo many bubblemails from some groups, sometimes just too many all on different and unnecessary topics, or to say that there is 8 hours till the challenge closes… then 4 hours…. then 2 hours… then 1 hour…. then 30 minutes… then just 18 minutes!…. Oka…
