Acrylic on board, heavy use of modelling medium was used to raise the surface. of the painting on knots and peeling bark. Also gold and silver wax rub was used on highlights.

120×90 cm framed size.

    this is so wonderful. love the painting style. I have so many photos of beautiful bark that I mean to make into paintings and never do. so this inspires me. great textures and color

  • as a matter of fact this painting will be on display in an art show, Strathfieldsaye, in about two weeks. Details will be in journal.
