Winter in the Heartland
Sunday, 24th May, an exhibition of works by Col Brown, Peter Bowes, Mal Hausler, Iris McLean, Jennifer Mathews, Geoff Paynter, Jay Sinclair and Sandra Wilson, will be opened at 2pm. This exhibition will run until June 17th., at the Heathcote Winery, 185 High St.., Heathcote. Heathcote is a beautiful Victorian country town, with many local wineries, well worth a sunday or weekday drive.

This weekend, 2nd and 3rd of May, sees the Harold Baigent Art Show at the guide hall in the main street in Heathcote, central Victoria. Col and many other local and regional artists have work hanging in this show, so any bubblers who enjoy a drive on sunday, in the lovely sunshine we are having, call in and enjoy.

down the calder at Harcourt this weekend, an easy 10 minute drive from Bendigo, is the Harcourt Art Show. This year due to limited exhibition space, all paintings are in the 9×5 inch size. It has produced some excellent works from local and other artists . A good challenge. …

Col and Heather will be setting off Monday, 17th November, for ten days holidays at Moama. Twice a year we try to get away for a bit of R&R, mainly the rest part….. Weekend Art Shows
This weekend saw us attending the St. Pauls Art show in Bendigo. A beautiful building of the gold era , superb carving in the main part of the Cathedral, wonderful wood work in the chapels. Well worth a visit. Many seats were filled for the opening, and a delightful supper was served.

Birchip Friends of the Library Art Show
Birchip is holding its annual Friends of the Library Art Show, in Birchip this weekend, October 31st to November 2nd.
Col has four paintings in this show, it is one we have not yet attended but hope to in the future.
With three art shows on this weekend, Col will be glad of a break until after our holiday in Moama , second half of November…..
St. Pauls Art Show
One of the most beautiful old Cathedrals, St. Pauls Anglican , Myers St., Bendigo, is again hosting the annual art show. The paintings will be hung in the church and chapel, an interesting concept.
