Citizen Apathy
This is a very deep one, thoughtful…sad…hopeful.
Would the name of the picture and seeing this tell you what happend there?
Remember the time when the white man ran over the entire land, killing native americans, raping their daughters and slaughtered them like cattle. But this picture tries to capture the hope aspect of it.
The girl steps out of a burning village into a new civilization (marble stairs) and watches her steps, still shy and fearing what’s ahead.
You can also project the message of the picture into the here and now. How? I leave this up to you, it’s in the eye of the beholder I think ;)
Hope you enjoy, it’s a personal message.
