TIME FOR A BEER......c.1932 by Win Bennett by

From the photos of station life in the 1930’s by Win Bennett, farm worker on Orari Gorge Station near Geraldine, New Zealand.

Win Bennett is actually the man sitting on the sacks with the beret and the beautiful smile.

This photo and about 80 more are from his family album that I have been given the priviledge of scanning and preserving for the family and other interested people before the originals are passed on to the museum for their archives.

As is, unedited……uploaded in original scanned version.

Hi my name is Jenny Stewart, I live in a small town called Geraldine in the South Island of New Zealand.
Photography truly inspires me and helps me really “see” so many wonderful things that are all about us.
I am an amateur photographer who loves this wonderful adventure with the camera and I would like to hopefully create a few memorable photos along the way.
