There were a lot of seagulls on the beach this morning and as the others flew about, landed and flew about some more, these two seagulls standing on one leg each, stayed close by each other’s side, quite content to stay put …a bond of togetherness…a bond of love.

It did look like they were both disabled birds looking out for each other, but in reality I think they were doing as seagulls often do, resting a leg tucked way in under their feathers…or maybe keeping it warm as it was winter time.

They were the only two doing this though, out of a huge group, and they were staying by each other’s side, so my capture was with the thought that they may indeed be disabled seagulls…..with a special bond of love.

Sold a canvas print of this image to an unknown buyer here on RedBubble.
