The camera is working. Had to replace battery but it works. Not the best pictures now but better than nothing. Perhaps if i get the lens cleaned somehow it will be better. A small spot on pics and pics somewhat blurry but, hey not a total loss i guess. I would be sad if i didn’t have camera for my taking pictures. :) I was quite upset.

Well, there goes my camera. I had my camera in hand and lost my footing and well to make a long story short, Kerplunk right in our fountain. I have it airing out but i think it is toast. I am so sad :(

Well, it is raining. The wintery mix came through during the night and what a night. Every 20 minutes electric would come on an off. Flickered all night long. Heavy winds. Could have been worse. Monday morning is going to be a feat for everyone, when all of this freezes overnight. Well stay safe everyone. I think we are alll sharing this wintery weather especially the mid west..

Icy morning here today. Keeping warm and wrapping gifts. Still can’t find the spirit though. Took one icy pic from my front door. Just some ice on maple tree in front yard. kinda nice. Don’t feel much like venturing outdoors. Quite a mix of weather this morning and then rain since noon. Hoping it dosnt feeze over nite will make for a icy, slippery mess and bad conditions driving. I just enjoy my digital camera. I have a Canon Power Shot A710 IS. I was just wondering when you would use macro. I used it for a few close ups but see no difference. Not really sure when and where you would use this feature? Any info would be helpful, just curious about it. thanks, Diane

Checked out French Creek State Park today. Wow, i have taken 181 photos. I guess i got snap happy. lol Only spent a little time there, not feeling so up to par. We stopped at Dunkin donuts. The guys wanted there Pumpkin muffins. We then headed to the park. Well, we got a little fresh air and mom got to take her photos. After several really warm days,(90’s) the air is once again cooler. Hoping that by next week or so the Fall colors of nature will really start showing. Hope to get out and about to get some new photos. Bugging my husband to take me to one of the near by state parks or lakes. Just love walking about and enjoying nature. My husband came home this evening, and i told him about the bat and that it was under the umbrella still. He was surprised. He shook the umbrella for a bit until it finally just up and flew. I didn’t think it was ever going to give up. We took the umbrella down and packed it away for the winter. Well, i hope this is the last of this little guy.
