Zen Drifts by

Taken during high winds the day after heavy snowfall, what looks like sand is really a winter wonderland. This image struck me for its simplicity, yet impression of complexity – minimalism is among my favorite styles of photography.

Thank you both! This image is among my favorites – it’s a theme I’ve been working with for quite a while and I think I finally captured it perfectly.

been meaning to explain why this capture is amazing..

beauty can be fleeting – one minute there, the next forever gone.. to be able to see it even as a glimpse is rewarding. whether captured in frame or remembered in memory, it can take you back to a fond memory.

this is what that image entails. true beauty.

I understand your feelings on this precisely, Zaldy. It has been labeled as ‘the decisive moment’, that instant in time which defines the true essence of a scene. Thank you for your follow-up and support.
