Winter in Mammoth Hot Springs, YNP, is always a beautiful. The geothermal activity spews steamy ghosts, casting soft shadows against the hard light on this particular morning. A spectacular display is always visible, but winter days around 0°F/-17°C will find you in a wonderland of silence and grace.
