Perfect Day
This image was taken deep in the Gravelly Mountains in southern Montana, but it might be difficult to tell by the look of things. The Gravellies are known for their high altitude meadows and soft, tired peaks. Among my favorite ranges in the state, this was the perfect photography day to compliment the landscape. The road is only open about 4 months each year because of heavy snowfall, but during that narrow window it is a magical place with an endless variety of terrain to explore.

This image is crazy good! While similar to the Windows graphic, it surpasses easily. The shadow play really adds much to the shot.
