Last Stand
I’m a big fan of advancing shadow, it’s a theme I often revisit while out photographing. This scene was along the Main Boulder route as I drove to the Natural Bridge here in Montana. The clean, sharp edge of light gets me every time, and on this occasion it was no different. The shot had a high potential of being ‘blown out’, but a little drop in my exposure helped capture the scene with detail. I’m curious how the details show in the dark shadow across the middle of the frame to other viewers. I didn’t set a color profile for this shot and wonder if it will have an adverse effect on other monitors. Let me know if you see any weird coloration in there…
