This is Sonja (just turned 8). In Sept. she and her brother were out riding bareback and her horse turned in front of his and he ran into her at a gallop, breaking her femur. It was surgically pinned, spent 4 days in childrens hospital (a very expensive hotel room), and she was in a wheelchair for 6 weeks. Wish I had insurance! Lady (27 years old and not the one she was hurt on) was confused as to why Sonja was stuck on wheels and not on her (lady’s) back as usual. Sonja was back riding the day they took the immobilizer off her leg. (even before she went back to school)(with Doctors approval). That is part of the reason I have not been on here much in a while.
