Seven miles south of Melton Mowbray is Burrough Hill, one of the highest points of Leicestershire and the site of an Iron-age hill fort. The site commands fine views across the Wreake and Soar river valleys and across to the Charnwood forest and other Iron-age sites at Breedon and Bardon. Pen, ink wash and oil pastel on Bockingford watercolour paper. 15″ × 22″
