Yet another oil pastel sketch of my younger daughter. This one I did about two years ago. When my first daughter was born I discovered that she was a great model when she was asleep. I maintained sketchbooks of her for those first few years, mostly colored pencil work. Then when my second daughter was born, it only seemed fair that I continue the tradition.
I apologize for all the “sleeping” drawings, but when my kids are awake, it’s often harder to get them to stay still for very long.
