Boatshed 20
Lake Wendouree in Ballarat, home of the 1956 Olympic rowing and canoeing. Now the boatsheds stand bereft, where once they teemed with the action of rowing teams, kayaks, yachts and fishing tinnies. Over a decade of drought, and now, midwinter, we wait.

May it rain. Such lovely architectural detail on these boat houses. They seem to speak to the activity that once reigned here. Thank you for delivering these shots to us here in NW Washington in the states. I now have a feel of the place. Can’t imagine at least 20 of these standing waiting. wonderful work.

Very surreal, like a Rousseau painting! Great texture and light, this is great stuff!
