“Often, the best opportunity comes unexpectedly. I was observing two pretty ponies and taking photographs on their sweet faces. Suddenly, several birds arrived and started to fly in circles. As one of them took a meal in the beak, the others started chasing her.
Spontaneity is the key in portraying animated subjects at their best. I captured the expressiveness of this beautiful creature when she made a quick turn upwards spreading her magnificent wings against an overcast autumnal sky."

Carmin: What an incredible encounter and capture! I usually just get the tail feathers! Carmen, you have been bless by the Great Spirit.
My Sioux friends say a Crow encounter like this one portends a good change from the ’other side". They say the Crow is the keeper of the scared laws and knows the “mysteries” of the world. My Sioux friends what say “The crow gave you a secret this day!” Think about this; and Maybe nothing else. Welcome your new “spirit guide”?You were blessed this day!
FYI
Thank you, Dave, for your kind comment. I keep the Crow and the Raven very close to my heart. When a beautiful American Crow hovers above me, I feel blessed and inspired by her presence.
Thank you for sharing the wisdom of the Sioux.
