Farm not Harm by

Winning design in a contest sponsored by the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS). Collage especially created to promote awareness to the humane treatment of creatures in factory farms.

Help spread compassion and humane treatment to defenseless farm creatures as they are one of the most abused by the food and garment industries.

There is a humane way to share our land.
Exploitation is not the way.

Oh, I love this! I think I actually like this better – it would be such a stunning mounted print!

  • Thank you, Crockpot, I wish it could be given good use to spread compassion.

This is beautiful, Carmen, and with such an important message. I love how you’ve included close-up shots of their eyes, to let people see that they are thinking, feeling creatures. These animals are treated so horribly and it breaks my heart to even think about it… It’s why I haven’t eaten any kind of animal in 16 years.

  • Erin, thank you very much for your words. Yes, I focused on their eyes. They look straight into your soul with such immense kindness, innocence and vulnerability.

Very nicely done this collage and witha very good text!(Just saw the other week a cow who was abused by someone, it is so terrible to see, i cannot understand why people harm such innocent animals)

  • Ellen, thank you so much. As I commented to Erin, how can anyone harm them?. I hope these beautiful eyes carry the message and touch people’s hearts.

Well Carmen, you know I love this design…………it would look spectacular as a card or print but even better as a poster…………………

  • Ruthy, thank you for your insight. I wish my pretty friends carry the message far and beyond.

hear! This is brilliant and a very important message….
How little thought and care goes into how these creatures are treated, yet we consume them. I remember a young friend who was passionate about being a vegetarian for these reasons, had a huge poster that read
“Did your food have a face?”
Very thought provoking…. I am not vegetarian, but I am a farm girl and would like to believe that all animals that contribute to our wellbeing, in return have contented lives and kindness at all stages of their own time here on earth.

  • Thank you, Wendy, for your supportive words and for sharing your insight.. It is very nice of you to have noted this collage with a message.

Those same true words of your friend’s ring in me every single day as I do not eat food that had a face. Neither do I purchase or wear cruelty-related products and feel much in harmony with Nature in this way.
