Eye to Eye

“This pretty individual was paying a visit to my Lily. The radiant green stood in an enchanting contrast against the warm colours of the flower.

Then, that pair of whimsical eyes glanced at me straightforwardly and I found it irresistible.”

Artist statement
My photographs are not enhanced; they represent the true nature and colours of the subjects as captured by the lens. I never lure my animated subjects to come close to me: spontaneity is the key.

This is an original uncropped image.
