A bird I’d never seen before moving to the west – its a common sight in our backyard, They especially love the bird bath but because they are so small they tend to be beaten up by the bigger and more aggressive honey-eaters. They don’t stand out like some of the more colourful honey-eaters but they have a much nicer personality!
