hello all….changing is fun…of me. i was born in high point north Carolina. started drawing at age 5 serious art of clouds. i went to Mrs Adams dance studio , who was a choreographer at new york city ballet. she was tough, yet i loved her and was always welcome to get extra lesson with big kids. i was there till age 12. ballet and jazz. i loved it so much i became a dancer for 22 years. all the while learning to choreograph in Vegas to Miami. traveled the world dancing.

went to Winston Salem school of arts briefly before father died. he did not want me to dance yet at first recital i saw him sitting in auditorium. i was lead dancer for my first year. then i saw him slowly pull his hands off his eyes and the smile was manna from gods.

i also wrote poetry, short stories along with drawing. he loved.

later i studied under bob fosses group, interpretative dance and jazz took on new meaning. no money, yet the training was great.

also went to Stanislavsky method acting when i lived in new york for 3 months of a year. lived in gramercy park flat.loved the jazz club scene, soho, greenich village and more when at acting classes had no clue how many famous folk came from here.learned much later.

wanted to be a big star as some say. auditioned for a movie,Lenny” or story of Lenny Bruce. i did get sag card from this, Barcelona hotel in Miami. Dustin Hoffman made me feel at ease, rolling a wardrobe empty of course doing headstands. he was so kind and helpful. even played drums to routine i had choreographed. to stop me from shaking and more. very kind man. i can honestly say i was fan of Hoffman’s style. no i have never seen one bad movie he made. always could make bad seem good. always in character, and could leave at door. i know this man to be compassionate and giving from all i hear, or read fact. he loves life and gives it the all.
what does this have to do with art high? school of life lessons gave vast wealth of masters in travels, when i could sneak away. dancing was eight hours of work outs. then opening acts 2 shows sometimes 3. i continued to write poetry and draw, world over. my daughters will receive all when i grow up….)

i was to short for minsky’s even with 6 inch heels…ahh wanted to stay there.

mostly i was a pony line dancer, kinda a rockett thing. on the end for my height. opened big shows…i loved yet body took some hits…OK expected. my love of dance and riding horses dressage had led me to perfect pencil drawings. many i have. many i do not. also drew designs for costumes for the troop and or me. fun stuff.

at 34 years of age, having separated and divorced first husband. no i was not ever supposed to give birth to children due to a lot of female problems. well the divine had other plans. met the man i considered soul mate, gave birth at age 23 to eldest, then at 28 the next. they have since grown up to be the most talented and beautiful daughters ever..[they gave me wonderful son in laws and 3 of the most beautiful intelligent and already born actors and artist.writers and these grans…oh my…

i was one class shy of getting my degree in art history. wished to teach at college level. had hysterectomy, complications went on for ten years, and lost my perspective on all. got cancer, had treatment and ahhhh. yet i am a winner at this today.

getting my drawing hand back took practice, something that came natural and now perspective was skewed. found out eight months later that chemo had affected eyes, and yes my ever so precious teeth…now dentures, and now used to them kinda…have funny story to post of how i view of this…

new worlds opened. age 14 at Woodstock, my art took priority, even more so when on airplane every week…cannot imagine flying today…this so different. many of my doodles and art and poetry i gave away. hippie thing.

loved designing furniture when in high point, furniture mecca…probably would have pursued if father had not died.

much of my poetry was published in moody street reviews under different name. family stuff.

my love of words, art, playing instruments were influenced by people such as bob Dylan, fleetwood mac. then Stevie nicks. Ravi shankar, Janis Joplin and oh yes the beautiful Jim Morrison. also later jazz, sonny James and list could go on. there is not any music even today that i am not inspired by the words. helps to create beauty in art forms.

while i did not get degrees i wished. i did become licensed in many other things. boring things to artist.

i make jewelry by hand as well as funky clothes still. love this, and now i am back to love of painting. i paint with left hand. draw with right hand so have to watch that perspective.

when i first came to bubble it was new, never had i seen such beauty of world down under. wow. so much talent. i was then eponadreams, left and came back two months later. now cloudsdreams. all those planes showed me visions in clouds…

yes i still work out yoga, brown belt in tai quan do. martial arts is just to keep me organized in mind. still do ballet stretches in the dawn. keeps those bones from going bad. missed 2 months and oh how body paid.

that is me, glad to be, happy to see, and yes bubble is addiction as well as passion which words called to me when i joined. loved the concept. still do, though i was resistant to change. now i see why it had to change. yet i still miss a lot of artist way it is set up. love the passion of art the world over. have so many favorites and friends, like minds. and yes we get to act out the beauty of art.

learning to use digi on my own was hard in beginning. always a photographer old way and yes something about the quality and ease of digi was well just to easy. now i love continue to add art programs as i go. using much of what i learn on bubble tutorials before i purchase a program..

i have found here what was without is now within. this site saved my life. truly i believe this. helped me to get message out, learn or relearn things i knew nothing of. of all my years in art schools off and on the man i admired and taught the most was one Jackson thursby,he came from new york and i always felt he did not wish to be in ocala Florida.
though i could be wrong.

thanks to all who have carried me when i could not. helped me grow, still growing. Janet baldwin pettersen. aka eponadreams, now clouds dreams…
