Postcards to raise funds for children with poliomyelitis. Linocuts, printed on brown paper these are humble, but the aim is to give children in India and Africa, some kind of mobility. The series is called ‘Freedom Riders’ as my primary aim was to raise enough money to buy hand-operated trikes that kids and landmine victims could use to have a life. Otherwise they are destined to become ‘crawlers’ and ostracised. Art should have purpose, I believe.
