My photos are for God’s Glory in Praise for His Grace.
I am an amature photographer who began by photographing family experiences beginning in the 1980’s with a Canon AEI film camera. My favorite lens has always been my 70 to 210 zoom lens. I diligently filled countless albums each year until two shelves in one large closet were completely filled and bowing from the weight. Digital cameras and laptop computers came along just in time.
I am thankful to my parents who passed down a point and shoot Sony Cybershot to help introduce me to the world of digital. It has been my constant pocketbook companion and I have had tons of fun with it while at the same time saving a boatload of money on film and processing. I still resort to film for wildlife shots and travel . Someday I will decide on the right higher end digital camera.
I have gotten addicted to RedBubble as I am learning so much from all the expert and professonal artists who display their work. I am in awe of their talent. Thanks to everyone who encourages me by making comments, suggestions, and answering questions.
I have an eclectic array of photographs as I don’t specialize in any certain type. Anything and everything are fair game. I have been known to photograph forgotten moldy leftovers from the depths of the refrigerator or scenery, wildlife, patterns, abstracts, flowers, or people, etc. I just love experimenting and learning.
I am a mother of two and a grandmother of one. My faith in God and his promises helps me deal with the tragic loss of our son Matthew. My passions have been learning about God’s Word, raising our family, taking care of our house and property, entertaining, travel and photography. I am currently a remedial reading teacher by day and after I working to leave “no child behind,” (or no parent left behind) I become a RedBubble addict at night.
