Devpryag At Misty Sunrise by

This was definitely one of the highlights of our 2011 trip to India – a journey to Devpryag, India, nestling in the foothills of the Himalayas.

We arrived at sunrise on a cold spring morning. The blue mist through the mountains dominated the vistas. The water of the Ganga was this amazing aquamarine, that had us memerised.

This was one of those places, that I really didn’t know which way to point the camera. I felt like a kid in a candy store!

This reminds me of a Maxwell Parish painting, the blues and golds. Beautiful work!

  • I had to Google him (embarrassed to admit!) and I see what you mean Viv. Thanks so much.

This is what I love about Redbubble.. I can go places in my heart and with my eyes that I will never really reach in this life.. thank you for this awesome capture!!

  • That’s such a nice thing to say Teresa. Yours is one of the nicest compliments that I have had here on RB. If you do get the chance to go there, you really should. India is such a contrast in itself and you should definitely stop off here. It really is breathtaking. Thankyou for taking the time to comment.
