Turnstones-Hillhead harbour by

pencil study of turnstones foraging around an old anchor chain in hill head harbour.the harbour at Hill head is opposite my favourite bird reserve of titchfield haven from where i glean the inspiration for most of my bird art.this piece was produced using sketchs and photos taken in situ of the turnstones who are well-known and loved in this area and can always be found at low tide foraging in the harbour.
