Image taken at Sovereign Hill Historic Village located at Ballarat in central Victoria Australia. Camera Olympus E-520, Focal length 30.0mm Shutter 1/320s, f.5.1, ISO800 . Cobb and Co Coaches were built and operated during the 1850’s to 1920’s, operating throughout several states in Australia. A stage line operated from Geelong to Ballarat during the gold rush days to not only ferry miners to the fields but also to transport gold to Geelong then onto Melbourne. The Stage Coach in this image is operated at the Sovereign Hill Historic Open Air Museum that depicts the first ten years after the discovery of gold there in 1951.
