The Bendigo Conservatory Gardens were designed by Samuel Gadd in 1886 on the site of an old rubbish dump and were completed around 1886. The prefabricated conservatory building was designed by Gadd and George Minto is the oldest original conservatory in Victoria. The conservatory was restored by Bob Hodges in 1978. The Conservatory Gardens are adjucent to Rosalind Park and well worth being included in your walks around Bendigo.
There are a number of staues in the gardens including that which was presented by Mayor Harkness in 1899 and the George V monument.
