I made use of the beautiful Salisbury Font inside the Cathederal for the reflection.
Whether you live in the UK or are just visiting, the Salisbury Cathederal is well worth the visit. This was my first visit to the Cathedral and found it to be a most beautiful building.
Salisbury Cathederal is one of Englands finest early Gothic Cathederals.
The foundation stones for this structure were laid in the year 1220 at Merryfield near the confluence of the rivers Avon and Nadder.
The glorious two-stage tower and spire, rising 123 metres (404 feet) from the ground, creating the tallest Decorated Gothic spire in Europe.
The world’s oldest mechanical clock can be found within the north aisle and Salisbury’s copy of the “Magna Carta” is housed in the Chapter House beside the largest cloisters in England.
