Not long after sunrise the first rays hit the slopes of Hereford Beacon.

Sigma 17-50mm lens
1/100 sec at F9
Manfrotto tripod with cable release
Lee 0.6 hard grad and a warm up
RAW file processed in Lightroom 4 with a slight crop.

  • Thanks Dan, this was one of my first images using Lee Filters and they make a hell of a difference. The very early light really did set the colours ablaze in the trees, to be honest that is probably where the shot really was.
