Artist's Description

Open land of common touch,
a stray wander passes,
winter’s grip hard now on the ground,
this lighter moment under sky’s folded curtain.

Taken on Hob Moor in York, North Yorkshire, England on a bright but chilly day in winter. This guy’s determination to get his bike across the stray had us smiling.

Converted into black and white and best viewed large.

Shot on an Olympus E30.
