Veiled by winter’s touch,
burning in the morning sun,
Her mice of Fairy Godmother’s art,
rest now as the water flows on.
This tree stands deep in the grip of winter by the edge of the River Nidd on the outskirts of Hammerton, North Yorkshire, England. To the quick of eye, this tree was also in another image of mine recently and can be found here which shows how deep the flood at the time was.
Converted into black and white.
