Stone falling slowly, atoms tumbling,
river running, pushing against the tilt,
storm racing on wind’s chase,
yet a a moment, all was still.

The edge of the winter storm lashing rain and gales starting to clear the land and estuary in Whitby, ( North Yorkshire, England)

Great words Clicky, and a lovely composition to accompany them (or vice versa)

  • LOL picture comes first, but think part of me is already composing the words as I take the shot lol. Oh and the weather forecast said severe gusts of wind from the North West blowing over the Pennines.. any chance you could say no to the Brussels sprouts in future ? ;)

Beautiful capture; and the words fit it very nicely; the clouds suggest movement but everything else is so still.

  • Thanks Mui-Ling, the wind was just under gale force and it was fun trying to protect the camera from blowing over
