Awaiting the return of the tide by

Resting from voyages long,
discussing the mountain and forest beginnings,
watching winter’s light growing,
the hushed rustle of the returning tide.

The beach at Tynemouth, Tyne and Wear, England on a soft grey winter’s morning as the tide starts it’s return journey from the North Sea beyond the harbour walls.

Converted into black and white and best viewed large.

Shot on an Olympus E30.

Awesome capture, great depth! Love the B&W!

  • Thanks swaby :) had fun taking this, especially when I realised it was the tide coming in and not out :)

Another magnificent As Far As The Eye Can See shots. I CAN hear that rustle & scrabble, looking at this. Good one, Richard.
