Like a life line thrown to high cliffs this ancient way escapes deep dale, to this ancients left their bones, resting now over blasted views.
The road out of Castleton in the North Yorks Moors,( North Yorkshire, England), edges the eroding moor as it falls away to Commondale. Winter storm clouds gathering in the wind, waiting to throw their cargo from the North Sea on to the huddled land below.
Converted into black and white and best viewed large.
Great use of light and clouds (for the latter there is usually a small charge,I am given to understand)
That is true ET, I have to pay Clickinhistory Clouds Inc, then a fee to Clickinhistory Images Collections, a further fee to Clickinhistory image holdings and then any pennies left to Clickinhistory Publishing and that is why I have no income for anything else… well it worked for Lovejoy lol

Aaaah, finally one nice B&W place to rest my burnt eyes after a 6 weeks orgy of red earth colours in Sudan… ;-)
Well if you will spend so much that you have all those air miles to use up before you lose them… ;)
