Morning sun’s fleeting children play,
their hop scotch dance on earth’s turning,
chalked marks of flood and plough,
soon to fade gossamer into air.
Trees lining the bank of the River Wharf on the outskirts of Tadcaster under a rising sun after days of snow, casting their finger puppets of shadows on the flood plain.
Cropped to make the most of panoramic view of the lens and the Four Thirds ratio and part of a project.
Converted into black and white and best viewed large,
Shot on an Olympus E30.
