From ancient seas now buried,
this breaker of winters grip set free,
a hope of prayer release,
to steady the track of wheel and foot.
The view across the River Ouse towards Skeldergate in York, made slightly surreal by the river actually being frozen. Though it appears that someone had in the words of the song, High Hopes.
Just a quick note, the rock salt is as it was found sitting on top of the ice, not added or altered in software.
