A little light cleaning of history by

Graphic lines against the Yorkshire sky,
steam driven hell,
dirt recycled into the land,
industry upon a domestic land.

This fantastic industrial chimney stands proud over the city of Leeds in North Yorkshire. It is a reminder of the old CoOp Laundry Service that once occuppied this site. Now a fading building holding it’s decaying own against the encrouchment of renewal and economic changing fortunes.

Converted into black and white and best viewed large.

Shot on an Olympus E30.
