Artist's Description

We count each flower for the book,
a dance of flight and dabbing,
balancing the books of nature,
accounts to be presented by seasons end.

On the side of a road high in the heart of the Yorkshire dales, a hedgerow buzzed with life, totally ignoring the passage of humanity less than 16 inches away.

Converted into black and white and best viewed large.

Shot on an Olympus E30.
