One so small against the world by

From a seed of time lost,
found by chance by a brave soul,
this battle of time and season,
a race from plough to scythe.

A field of crops race to find their ripeness under the sun between the hard rains of summer. The big skies over North Yorkshire as seen by a flying insect.

Converted into black and white and best viewed large.

Shot on an Olympus E30.
